The NCAG is digging another series of Test Pits on the Grange estate on the 15th/16th February in order to find evidence of Roman occupation. During the building of the estate in the 1950's, Roman finds were discovered in Caslon Way. Several households have been approached and some have agreed to us digging small 1.5m square testpits in their gardens. Watch this site for results following this venture.
